With more than 25 years of experience in insolvency, restructuring, and commercial advisory, Michael advises businesses, financiers, creditors, and stakeholders through complex financial and operational challenges.

His expertise spans the full spectrum of corporate recovery and formal insolvency appointments, including business turnarounds, restructuring, voluntary administrations, deeds of company arrangement (DOCA), liquidations, receiverships, and investigative accounting.

Over the course of his career, he has worked across a diverse range of industries including retail, hospitality, construction, banking and finance, automotive, manufacturing, transport, mining services, healthcare, civil engineering, and not-for-profit organisations.

Michael has acted for major Australian banks, financial institutions, law firms, and secured lenders, including experience within the asset restructuring division of one of Australia's largest banks. He regularly advises secured creditors, directors, and business owners on strategic recovery options, creditor negotiations, investigations, and financial reviews.

Where formal insolvency is required, Michael provides practical, commercially focused advice and acts across all aspects of voluntary administration, receivership, and liquidation, helping stakeholders achieve the best possible outcomes.
